Good News International is a community based organization and we are currently involved in 23 different communities across Rwanda. Good News International supports its beneficiaries in the above mentioned communities.
Good News International is committed to providing holistic care for survivors of the 1994 genocide who were left alone and without hope, and other vulnerable people. The ministry of GNI began in 1995 to alleviate poverty and to bring the good news found in Jesus Christ to the Rwandan people. In 2011 this organization was formally named GNI.
21 years after the genocide, many widows and orphans have not received adequate care. Poverty, physical injuries inflicted during the genocide, and serious emotional trauma cripple these people. Good News International is dedicated to bringing the Rwandan people hope and a future through Christ, and serving genocide survivors in helping them to help themselves.
